FREE COMMUNITY BASE ART WORKSHOP
Our Vision is to Educate Students about Art in Nature
This is a National Art Education Curriculum covering Visual Arts and Life Science. Art and Core Benchmarks used as standards to cover transition, rubrics and reflections as guided practices to educate students about wildlife living in nature using a one-of-a-kind 3-dimensional unfinished tree branch sculpture.
Classroom - Afterschool - PTA's - Summer Camp Art Projects
Children learn in addition to wildlife in nature about how different their tree branch is compared to their peers and inspiring dialog. They learn how to use paints and the proper way how to use paint brushes to achieve the results they're looking for to complete their sculpture.
Using Miniature Replica Accessories and found objects
Recycle to Upcycle using miniature artificial accessories to educate about different wildlife species such as birds, butterflies and insects while incorporating a variety of found objects - rocks, seashells, gems, feathers, goolie eyes and more!
The Goal is to create a one-of-a-kind completed sculpture
Children create a fun-filled Wildlife Tree Sculpture based on their own individualty and take it home. They may keep it for themselves or give it as a gift.
Seniors - Family - Individual
Art therapy for Seniors and those who have special needs such as arthritis, ADD, ADHD, PTSD and hand eye coordination issues. The Wildlife Tree Sculpture offers a way for Seniors to have fun and a sense of accomplishment doing a art project.
Spend time with family painting and accessorizing your one-of-a-kind tree branch sculpture using non-toxic paints and attaching miniature artificial birds, butterflies, insects and found objects.
Individual Do It Yourself (DIY) Art Project. Focus on detailing your one-of-a-kind Wildlife Tree Sculpture making it a fun time art and craft project for all ages.
WHAT'S INCLUDED in the FREE WORKSHOP
Unfinished Tree Sculptures
We provide a minimum of 15 Wildlife Tree Sculptures per session however we can accommodate up to 30 students in a 90-minute session.
Miniature Replica Birds, Butterflies and Insects
We provide a variety of miniature replica birds, butterflies, insects like dragonflies, lady bugs and more!
Live Instruction 90 Minutes
Professional live instruction from inventor and teaching artist Vincent Smythe and his team of trained artist. This is a bonus to the workshop. Vincent brings over 45 years of experience of working with tree branches.
Paints, Pallets Brushes and Water Bowls
We put safety first by using non-toxic acrylic paints that wash easily from your hands and clothing. We also use variety of paint brushes.
Artifical Accessories and More
We provide a variety of artificial accessories and found objects. We use rock, gemstones, goolie eyes, seashells and more. We use hot glue guns to attach the accessories. The instructor or assistant does all attachments.
